This is a HAND DRAWN 1 of 1 3.5x2.5" trading card of The Office character, Michael Scott played by Steve Carell. The card took 12 hours to draw features a minimalistic design with silver foil accents. I have hand signed the back of the card. No copies or reproductions will be produced.
100% of proceeds from this auction will be donated to Anxiety Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources to help people better understand and manage anxiety. When I first got back into art, I was experiencing extremely high levels of anxiety and I was running out of coping mechanisms. I knew I used to like to draw and I knew that I loved The Office. Therefore, I thought I would pick up the pencils again and try drawing the iconic Prison Mike moment from the show. I didn't anticipate the therapeutic effect drawing would have on me. Even though I only intended to invest 1-2 hours on the piece, I ended up putting in over 8. I was hooked. I drew more and more, investing more and more time into the next pieces. Now I am a professional artist. Even though my focus is on sports, I will always cherish the inspiration The Office had on me.
